So, finally am relieved from my organisation and it's a bit relief. The weekend was great as I met my old B.N.A.G.S. members: Mrs. S and Mrs. B.. It sounds so strange no. Well, we enjoyed a lot. Now am sitting at home and again the dilemma has started surrounding me. I'm still confused and clueless what exactly I want in various areas of my life. I know, I overthink stuff sometimes, but I need to get it out in any case. So, back to the topic, what I exactly want? Let's start with career. Then, I'll discuss other areas.

Career: Sometimes, I think that I'm done with all what I'd ever wish to achieve and don't want to work anymore. But at the next moment, I think no, I want to be independent as I can't ask my parents for money. It's against my ego or self respect(you might say).

Marriage: Now comes the next hot topic. Well, I will admit that I've always dreamt of that fairy tale and have been waiting for the Mr. Right. But, sometimes, I think no I can't shackle myself to anyone for lifetime, it will suffocate me. Oh god, how horrible.

Partner: If people ask me that what kind of partner you want? I can't explain it. As sometimes even an ordinary looking man attracts me while on the next moment I want a high profile person, whome I can respect and introduce to everyone as if I've won a trophy. Lolz..

Driving: This is the last and the recent concern. My parents ask me to learn driving. Even I want to do that so that I can drive wherever I want to but something incide me holds me back to do so as am scared of accidents.

So, in short, I am not able to understand whether I am confused or scared? Can't I make decisions or are my fears overwhelming me? Really, I need to get a job fast I suppose. Till then, I'll try to figure it out, what I want?

Hi All!

Recently, I visited Port Blair with my family. The place is very beautiful and will suggest you all, that do visit at least once. Here are some pics:

Well a lot is going around me and in my head these days which worries me sometimes. While on one moment I think, I need not to worry as everything would be fine in few days, it causes a strange kind of anxiety sometimes. For instance:

I am waiting to be relieved from this hell (my present organisation). They are not paying me as I have to serve the notice period and I've broken the one year bond. This is driving me crazy almost as I'm left with no money now.

Secondly, people are trying to get into my nerves as they ask me when are you planning to get married? As if they have to arrange for the dowry money.. What the hell.. I definitely will get married, once I find a suitable guy who finds me suitable for himself as well (as it should be from both the sides.)..

Third, I have very little balance in my mobile, that's the most important issue as I can't call my friends as frequently as I used to and can't give missed calls every time as it is against my ethics. No offences to those girlfriends who have boyfriends who call them back on giving missed calls.

So, in short, I'm not feeling good at all about anything. It's the time to grab a chocolate, I suppose. And thanks for bearing a ranting post..

Take Care,
Ann

Listening to the song: "Noor-E-Khuda" from the movie "My Name is Khan." Some songs, fragrances or incidents always remind us of some special people who touched our lives at some or the other point of time. Likewise, this song reminds me of all my friends, best of friends and acquitances, who came in my life, gave me some sweet memories and then left behind the incomplete stories, cut communication, misunderstandings, anger and much more! Sometimes, I think whether I will be able to meet them again in my life? Would I be able to tell them, that how did I felt at that point of my life when they left? or is this the end of it all? the mystery continues.. but the hope is always there. My sub conscious mind tell me that .. no it's not the end of it. I'll meet them in heaven or hell (God knows)..or may be in my next life. And then, it reminds me of the last scene in the movie "Titanic," where Rose (the lead actress) looks back to find Jack (the lead actor) waiting downstairs for her. So, will it happen with me as well? Will I be able to meet my loved ones and pals in heaven? The question remains unanswered yet. I don't know when the mystery will resolve but the hope continues.....

Nothing much to share. Feeling a bit aloof as Alps has left for her city. Soon, she'll be getting married and will enter a new phase of her life. So, god bless her. Right now, everyone in the office is planning for tomorrow's Diwali Party. However, am not quite excited. Missing all my pals. Last year, I remember we had a blast in our last office with our "gang of gals". But, the scene has completely changed this year. Am in new office. Though I've made many friends here, most of them would be on leave tomorrow so I don't have anyone to crack jokes on others. I know am a bitch who's always looking forward to bitch about others. Lol. Anyway, I had to take it out. Miss you all: Pinks, Alps, Guy with beautiful hair :) and others too.

Here is a beautiful pic. dedicated to all my loving friends. and yeah, Wish you all a very Happy Diwali :)

Take Care and Enjoy!

Ann

Past few months have been a bit weird, I had new idea where I am heading and what will be stored in future. I have lived my life through planning and a careful behaviour. Though, I've enjoyed it till now, but still feel that I was living in a Box. A box of self made restrictions, obligations and duties. But, this year, 2010 has been a rough year in many ways and now I've learned that no one can plan or plot things as per their will. It's the destiny somewhere that plays its role and directs us. So, I surrender. Now, onwards, I'll just live for the moment and will not plan for future. Yeah, I'm putting a full stop to Planning and Thinking for time Being as suggested by "S" - My friend.

I surrender to joy
Because
Joy is power.

I surrender to love
Because
Love is a power sublime.

I surrender to oneness
Because
Oneness is the measureless power.

I surrender to God
Because
God is the absolute Power supreme.

Since the day I've resigned from my job, I'm realising that there are so many people who are concerned about me. For instance, one of my blogger friends called me up and suggested me some job offers. Though, we don't know each other personally, still I felt that through this Blog, I've made some wonderful pals. Another friend (Priya) called me up and told she wud be always with me, no matter how things go. I felt so good about it. Moreover, people in my office are coming to me and telling that they are going to miss me. Really, it feels so special when people show that they care for you. Though life is tough, but I've realised that I'm blessed with some wonderful friends and this will help me keep moving... Thank you All :)

Although, I have done many blunders in my childhood, but they were not major. As far as I remember, today is the first day and first moment of my life where I took a major decision without consulting anyone (not even my parents or any close friend). Yeah, I resigned from my job. I don't know the reason exactly, but I was not finding it interesting and satisfying. Everyone from my colleagues to T.L. to Business manager were asking me the reasons.. And I was like, I'm not satisfied. Although people around me are telling me that why you do this in such a haste, but seriously, I don't have any regrets for that. I don't know whether I will find a better job or not? Whether they will break the bond or not? Nothing.. All I know is that today for the first time, I listened to my heart rather than using my head. And I'm feeling, free, relieved and Content.. Let's see where Life takes me now..

Till later,
Take Care,

Hi All! Mausam Mausam Lovely Mausam :) .. Yeah, weather is really lovely outside.. It's raining heavily outside and I feel like just get drenched in the rain. But, afsos.. nahi kar sakti... As I'm in office.. Well, here is a small story from Panchtantra..

Hope you will like the story. Read on...

The Monkey and the Crocodile

Here is another interesting tale from the Panchatantra collection. Long ago, there lived a monkey named Raktamukha, on a Jamun (Black-berry) tree by the side of a river. The tree was always full of fruits, which were as sweet as nectar. The Monkey used to eat fruits from the tree. Raktamukha was happily passing his days jumping from one tree to another. Once, a crocodile named Karalamukha came out of the waters and took rest under the tree on which the monkey lived.

Raktamukha, who was sitting high on a branch, saw the crocodile taking rest under the tree. The monkey became very eager to talk to the crocodile. Since he had no friends, he wanted to make friends with him. Addressing the crocodile, Raktamukha said, “As you’re taking rest under the tree, you’re my guest and it’s my duty to offer you food.” The monkey gave a lot of Jamuns to the crocodile to eat. The crocodile ate them to his fill. He thanked the monkey for his generosity and went home.

Karalamukha started coming ashore everyday and enjoy the fruits offered by the monkey. Soon they became good friends. Both of them started spending time with each other discussing the world. One day, the crocodile asked the monkey for some Jamuns to take for his wife. The Monkey happily gave the fruits to the crocodile. The crocodile took the fruits cheerfully to his wife and also narrated the whole story to her.

After eating the fruits, the crocodile's wife was overjoyed and said to her husband, "Dear, if these fruits are so tasty, then the monkey who eats these fruits must be ten times tastier. Why don't you bring the heart of this monkey for my meals?” The crocodile was stunned to hear such words from his wife. He replied,” Sweetheart, the monkey is my friend. It would not be fair to take his heart”. The crocodile’s wife was shrewd and pleaded with her husband to bring monkey’s heart for her. The crocodile was unwilling to deceive his friend, but then she insisted on not eating anything till he brought her monkey’s heart.

The Crocodile was left with no other option, but to bring monkey’s heart for his wife. He was afraid that how could he ask for such thing from his friend. He devised a plan and rushed to the monkey. Raktamukha was waiting for his dear friend for the daily meeting. Reaching ashore, Karalamukha asked the monkey in a sad tone, "My wife and I invite you to our home for a dinner. My wife is very angry with me for not having invited you earlier". He stated that his wife is anxious to meet such a nice friend.

Poor monkey didn’t know about the plan and believed the story of crocodile. He asked the crocodile,” I accept your invitation, but how will I go with you? I don’t know how to swim?” The crocodile replied,” Don’t worry. Come and sit on my back. I‘ll take you to my house.” The monkey happily sat on the back of the crocodile and they started their journey. The crocodile entered in the deep waters with an intention to kill the monkey. The monkey got scared to see water all around and asked the crocodile to move slowly.

The crocodile thought that now he could reveal his real intentions to the monkey, as it was impossible for him to escape from the middle of the river. The crocodile gullibly said to the monkey, “I am taking you to my home to please my wife. She wants to eat your heart. She says that since you eat tasty fruits day and night, your heart must be ten times tastier than those fruits."

The monkey was taken aback to hear these words. He had never expected this type of a request from a friend. He kept cool and said wittingly, "Oh dear! Why didn’t you tell me earlier? It would be my privilege to offer my heart to your charming wife. I usually keep my heart safely in the burrow of the tree. In order to serve my heart to your wife, I have to go back to get my heart.”

The foolish crocodile swiftly then swam back to the tree where the monkey lived. On reaching the bank the monkey quickly jumped off the crocodile’s back and climbed up his home tree. The crocodile was in a hurry and realized that the monkey was taking too long in getting his heart. Impatiently he asked, “What is the delay? Get you heart. My wife will be very happy.”

By the time, the monkey had realized that this was a rebirth for him. The monkey laughed and answered, "My dear foolish friend. You've deceived me as a friend. Can any one take out his heart and keep that in a burrow. It was all a trick to save my life and teach a lesson to an unfaithful friend like you. Now go away and don’t ever come back." The crocodile was ashamed for his act and went home with his head bent down.

Moral: At times, presence of mind pays well.

So.. the weekend was fun. My parents had invited some unwanted guests, which I didn't want to attend. It was like, how to escape the sitution. Hence, I made a plan to meet my MCA batchmate.. The weather was awsome. Though we were at her home only, but we enjoyed a lot. We were 4 - Me, my friend, her younger brother and his friends. We gossiped about their galfriends, then played cards..and then her brother made delicious rajma chawal. Now I came to know, why men are called better chefs. After that we went to market and enjoyed. Overall, it was a great day and I was like, better I came here otherwise I had to tolerate those guests. Anyways...

On sunday, I watched "Hannah Montana" and "Tere Bin Laden". Both were fun to watch. And yeah, those who've not watched "Tere Bin Laden" must watch it. It's a good comedy movie. One more thing.. Last night we had a piza party at home. And theit Choco LAVA was just delicious.. Mmmmmm.... Yummmy.... I can't resist.

So, overall, it was a good weekend. Now an sitting in the ofice waiting for that IT Asshole. My net is not working :( .. Why do we have just 2 days off :( Why these Mondays...

Anyways guys, enjoy and have a nice week ahead.

Well my readers mean a lot to me and so their suggestions and comments. One of my readers Rajesh, asked me to write a post on good blogging techniques. So, here is the post.

Though: I have taken the points from internet, but I've mentioned my personal experience as well. So, read on.

Top 10 Tips for Blogging:

10. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is usually a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very practical tips or advice.

My Experience: I have written few educational posts like: "FAKO", "Choose your words/actions well", "Circle of Influence" and got some great comments as well. By this, you can let people know your interest and ideas.

9. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post.

My Take: Well, I'm not that regular. Work keeps me busy but I try to update the blog as soon as possible. Frequent updates keep your visitors interested in your blog.

8. Use a proper domain name. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need a easily remember-able domain name. People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world, so you need to make it easy for them to spread the word and pass on your URL.

My Take; I named my blog after a very careful thinking. It's like I am a person ho lives in past (most of the times), so my blog will help in cherishing the beautiful moments, I'd love to remember always.

7. Start commenting on other blogs. One of the best ways to find the right type of reader for your blog is to comment on other people’s blogs.

My advice: Yeah, leaving comments will attract other bloggers to your blog. You can make new friends and share ideas :)

6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts: When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger’s article you can do a trackback to their entry.

My Take: Honestly, I could not understand this point myself :) So, kindly adjust ..

5. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.

My advice: I do it most of the times, try and reply to my reader's comments.

4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week.

My Take: I haven't tried this. So, can't comment or explain on this.

3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of new readers but it’s so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it’s worth the effort.

My Experience: Will surely try this. Hope it will be of some help.

2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn’t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately but it’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have – your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles.

My Take: Well, Ezine is a big Name and I don't find myself that good writer to submit into it. But, if you are, give it a try and let me know.

1. This one is My original advice: Write whatever you feel like. Afterall, it's your blog and you have every write to show your emotions and what you feel.

Hope these tips will be helpful. Till later, keep Blogging

Love,
Ann

I just love this poem.. Wanted to share. So, read on.. Whenever you'll feel regret for anything. This will help..

Life is colorful. We all have had our share of experiences and our lives our different. But then, whenever we look back, time leaves us with good experiences that add to our sweet memories and bad experiences from which we learn lessons.

Here I am sharing certain lessons I've learnt from my past experience. Sharing with you all.

Don't expect much: However, this might seem a bit difficult as expectations rise with time. But it's always good to keep your expectations low from people. You will always remain Happy. It works at least for me.

Either you accept it or you Accept it: Certain things to situations are not in our hands. So, better to leave them and move on. After all, life is not to regret every now and then.

Give your best to every relationship, but still if it doesn't workout, leave it on destiny. You can't please everyone. So, live life your own way.

Go By your Gut Feeling: Our heart is the best guide. I believe in god, but not the one who is in temples, but it is the one inside us. Yes, our heart is the god, who warns us and tells us the truth, if you'll start listening yo your heart than, you would never fail in taking decisions.

Don't blind faith: Never blind faith anyone. There are only few people who will not break your trust. So, "dikhawon pe na jaao, Apni akal ladao."

And last but not the least, Live and Let others live: Means, Live life on your own terms. Don't bound people. If they are your true mates, they'll always stay with you.

Ok enough of this Gyaan. This is what I've learnt from my life till now. Share your experiences and what you've learnt.

So, Sunday was fun. I went to my one of the members of "B.N.A.G.S" (Ok if you don't know about this: It was our group's name in MCA). So, I met "S" yesterday. The weather was so pleasant and it was drizzling. We gossiped, bitched and roam around in Cannaught Place (the central point of Delhi). It was too good to be out in rain after such a long time. So, I'm feeling a bit great about it.

Now here are few inspirational quotes for my fellow bloggers who are not feeling too great. Hope it helps.

"I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. - Marilyn Monroe "

Was not able to figure out the proper title for this blog post, so I summarized it and put it. Actually, I was down with fever from past two days. With changing weather, viral is common nowadays. This is the worst feeling, I tell you. Everything seems soooo tasteless and then the weakness. And above that, I am pissed off with the IT guy. Every morning we have to run after him to get our internet connected. **ASSHOLE**. Why all IT people are assholes? Don't mind but I've seen in every organization, these IT people have their own attitude as if they are the king of the organization.

Ok, keep that asshole aside. So, I got first salary since I've joined this organization. And as per the policy, my colleagues were demanding a treat. So, two of us contributed and treated them with snacks. It was kind of small get together and fun. I got to know many people whom I used to consider bad. Through this get together I came to know that they are actually nice to talk to. So, slowly and gradually, I am adapting to this new environment and enjoying it. Now, I am looking forward to next week as it's going to be a real fun. 1. Rakhi is on Tuesday. 2. I have to attend a friend's weeding on Thursday and then finally, I'll be getting 2 off (Sat & Sun) after that. So, really excited about that.

Ok then, see you later as I have to catch that IT Assh**le :)

Love you all,
Ann

With time I have gained something and that is "Patience." Patience to accept people as they are, patient to wait for things to happen, patience to work in very hard conditions, patience to accept destiny and then move on ... the list is long. Yesterday, it rained heavily in NCR and most of the routes were either blocked or were jam-packed with people and traffic. It took me three hours to reach home which otherwise is just a matter of 45 minutes. But I enjoyed that also. While waiting for bus, I was enjoying the rain and started talking to a strange gal. Within few minutes, we became friends and started bitching about people rushing for bus and the jam. You know, gals will be gals. Then after half an hour, I got an auto, and I got to sit on driver's seat with him. Initially, it was awkward, then I started watching other people and it became a joy ride then. Really, things which once used to be a big deal have now become very small issue. Now we have some big issues to look upon, and these small small things hardly irritate me. Overall, yesterday's experience was quite fun and I enjoyed the 3 hours of adventure :)

Friday, August 6, 2010

As I always say "I believe in Change." as nothing is permanent. So, day before yesterday, our team (office) got shifted to the third floor. Earlier, I was a bit depressed as people out here are freshers and behave like kids. I was all the time bitching about them. But as the day passed, I started adapting to the change and now am feeling good about it. Then yesterday, My TL informed me tat he is not coming today and again I've to communicate to all other deptt. heads on his behalf. Earlier, I felt so burdened, but then I felt I can't run from my responsibilities like this. I need to take initiatives and show people that yes, I can very well handle things on my own. Now my TL hasn't come today, and I am replying to mails on his behalf, editing articles, attending meetings and all. In short, though it's hectic but I'm enjoying it.

So, the morale of the story is we must not be scared of the Changes. As changes bring new challenges and opportunities to adapt to the new enviro... And you become the fittest to survive in this wicked world (I hope all of you must have read that "Survival of the Fittest" theory). Now, have to rush for another project. Till later, loads of love and take care.

Sometimes some of our experiences leave us with so many questions like: Why this happened to me? Why only I am suffering.. and so on.. And when we look around for answers, we find nothing but get confused and feel more pain. Here is a nice quote, that I found on one of my blogger friend's space.

Just felt like sharing it with all of you. So,those in search of all their unanswered questions, read on... It will definitely help:

"I beg you... to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without ever noticing it, live your way into the answer." ~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Listening "Main aur meri tanhai... ye kahan aa gaye hum yu hi sath-sath chalte" from the movie "Silsile". While listening to this song I was thinking, till now I've met so many people in life. Some were best friends, some were just friends and there are some whose name I remember, but not the faces. So, in short, some were there for a reason, some were there for a season :) .. And life will go on like this. One day, our life will be like a book classified into various chapters. Some chapters with joy and full of life while other chapters filled with disappointments and sorrows. Then, one day, we'll remember these days and will laugh at some of our experiences like how we used to react... It would be a colorful collage. I don't know how the remaining journey is going to be, but hope when I'll die, I'll say: "What a wonderful journey" and will close my eyes peacefully. Amen.

So, today is my b'day and the weather has made it more special. It's been heavily raining since morning and feels great. And the most special thing about the day is I've been receiving birthday wishes from all over the globe. Yeah, one of my friends called me up from Singapore. She called me early in the morning and it felt so special that people take their time out even when they are miles away from you. And yeah, one of my friends sent me 2 novels by courier. It was Really a pleasant surprise!!! All my friends are special to me in a way or the other. But the negative part is that today it's not an off and am sitting in office and working :( Waiting for 6:30 and reach home asap. Just 3 hours more and I'll run away.........Rest is fine. My TL is eating my head now... Have to work ...Will keep updating..

"It had been a looong tiring day" - My favorite dialogue by Preity Zinta from Kabhi Alvida na kehna :) But yeah, it had been a long tiring day actually, All the time I was working and to avoid myself from sleeping, I listened to songs.

Have you ever noticed that certain songs always remind us of some situations whenever we listen them. No matter, how many years pass away, We remember those things whenever we listen to that particular track. Here are some of the songs that reminded me of some special moments, I will always cherish :)

  • Mere naseeb mei tu hai ki nahi: MCA First Year, All gals used to dedicate this song to their respective boyfriends :)
  • Jo khabo khayalo me socha nahi tha (From the movie Jannat): When I first joined the Gym. This I was gym instructor's favorite song, I suppose. He used to play it every morning at least twice thrice.
  • Hasi ke Fuwaree (Sud) on Radio Mirchi: My first organization cabs. We used to gossip a lot but whenever Sid used to speak, we used to listen the joke quietly and then laugh it at loud.
  • Kaise bataye, kyun tujh ko chahen (Ajab Prem ki gazab kahani): I watched it with my sis and did loads of shopping. It was fun.
  • Thekeya te Nit khadke (Punjabi song): Reminds me of my friend's brother's marriage when one of her friends was trying to impress me by dancing on this. It was so embarrassing. Lolzzz...
  • Ye bandhan to pyar ka bandhan hai from the movie "Karan Arjun": Reminds me of my childhood days.

So, which are your special tracks that remind you of something special

So, FAKO is the new term for "Fuck Off". And the term is discovered by one of my friends. Yesterday while discussing stuff, we both invented the term FAKO. We see, every second person these days is worried about one or the other thing in their life. So, what can we do to relieve ourselves from all our tensions and worries? What's the mantra? FAKO is the mantra for us. It means, tell all the clutter to "fuck off" out of your life that makes you sad or irritated. Like if your Boss irritates you at work. Recite the "FAKO" mantra in your heart, and believe me you'll feel much better. If your colleague is playing politics, FAKO him/her. I am also following the "FAKO" mantra and yeah it really works. After all, life is to live, not to bear FAKO people/things. So, tell me, what do you want to FAKO?

Friday, July 23, 2010

Finally, it's Friday. And this one is special one, as tomorrow is the fourth Saturday of the month, so, it will be an off and I would be getting 2 days off. Yaaayyyyy... I can't wait to reach home and sleep till late morning. Lolzzz.. How interesting no, Nowadays, I find sleeping as my best time pass. As it keeps me away from all worries and tensions. But before that, I have to check out the Chinese Food with a my third bitch: "Alps".

No more updates now, Actually, in this post I am going to share a small story, I read on Jamie's Blog (My Inspiration to Blogging). It's an interesting and thoughtful story. So,read on:

Choose Your Words/Actions Well

A woman one day said something that hurt her best friend. She regretted it immediately, and would have done anything to have taken the words back. But they were said, impulsively, in a moment of thoughtlessness, and as close as she and her friend were, she didn't consider the effects of her words beforehand.

In her effort to undo what she had done, she went to an older, wiser woman in the village. She explained her situation, and asked for advice. The older woman listened patiently in an effort to determine just how sincere the younger woman was, how far she was willing to go to correct the situation.

The wise woman said, "There are two things needed to do to make amends. The first of the two is extremely difficult. Tonight, take your best feather pillows, and open a small hole in each one. Then, before the sun rises, you must put a single feather on the doorstep of each house in town. When you are through, come back to me. If you've done the first thing completely, I'll tell you the second."

The young woman hurried home to prepare for her chore. All night long she labored alone in the cold. She went from doorstep to doorstep, taking care not to overlook a single house. Her fingers were frozen, the wind was so sharp it caused her eyes to water, but she ran on, through the darkened streets, thankful there was something she could do to put things back the way they once were.

Just as the sun rose, she returned to the older woman. She was exhausted, but relieved that her efforts would be rewarded. "My pillows are empty. I placed a feather on the doorstep of each home."

Now, said the wise woman, "Go back and refill your pillows. Then everything will be as it was before."

The young woman was stunned. "You know that's impossible! The wind blew away each feather as fast as I placed them on the doorsteps! You didn't say I had to get them back! If this is the second requirement, then things will never be the same."

"That's true", said the older woman. "Never forget. Each of your words is like a feather in the wind. Once spoken, no amount of effort, regardless how heartfelt or sincere, can ever return them to your mouth. Choose your words well, and guard them most of all in the presence of those you love."

The topic is quite out of context. But it's my favorite track from "I hate Luv storys." So jut picked it up. Weather is quite pleasant, today. It's drizzling outside. As far as my new work is place is concerned, the environment is quite cool and there are hell loads of assignments, so I hardly get time to breath. I wrote 2 articles for a client and they approved them and assigned more work. So, It's kind of my first achievement here. My TL was quite impressed and appreciated my work. Rest is fine. Now I'm waiting for the end of the month, when I'll get my first salary after 3 months' break. I am looking forward to spend all of the amount.

1. I have to buy a new mobile (Fed up with this old, cheap one)
2. Will download songs of "I hate Luv Storys." Loved them, specially the one: "Bin tere, bin tere..."
3. Buy new footwear
4. Watch Peepli (Live), the new Aamir khan movie.

OMG. It's quite a good list. Let's hope, it all works out. Rest is fine. Have to go back to work now.

So, finally the monsoon has arrived in Delhi. It was a wonderful evening yesterday. The moment I get out of office, it started raining heavily, buses were jammed with people. Roads were blocked with water, Metro stopped operating. Instead of all this, it was great to feel the heavy rain. I was totally soaked with water while waiting for bus. Overall, it was a great evening. I reached home and had a refreshing cu of tea and talked to "S" (one of my good friends). He's the one I can bitch about how life sucks these days. Though he's an asshole, but I love his sense of humor. See, I'm bitching about him too. Lollzz.. Then went to sleep. Today morning was refreshing and beautiful. I got late for office but then I took an auto and guess what, a handsome hunk was sitting besides me. Loolllzzzz... Girls will be girls. Anyways, it feels great to be in office now. Have got loads of work to finish. Catch you later.

Yeah, one more thing. Here is an interesting post by one of my blogger friends: "AK" . Since I can't copy and paste it, I'm giving the link. Those who are feeling low about anything can read it and get some inspiration.

After 3 months of rest at home, finally I got a new Job. These 3 months had been a mix of torture and boredom. I was sitting idle all the time thinking about useless stuff. In these 3 months, I have realized how necessary it is to keep yourself occupied with work. I am feeling as if I am back from a long illness. Anyways, it feels good to be in office. There are new challenges as far as the work is concerned. People are ok types, but the best part is I have an old friend of mine who's working here in the other department so I can go for breaks with her. Overall, it feels good to be busy and occupied. Life has changed a lot in past few months, but I am trying to get hold of myself and regain the old enthusiasm and energy. Will keep posting with latest updates.

Hi All!

It's been almost a month since I updated my blog. Since I am at home these days, nothing new is going on.. But yeah, I am learning making new recipes like "Bengan ka Bharta" and "Gatte ki sabzi". And the best part is my Bro liked them, otherwise he is like I won't eat this and I won't try anything new. I'll post the pics next time when I cook. Rest is fine. Now am planning to go on a vacation to Agra (my native place). Will update you all soon abt the trip.

So, Nowadays I'm reading this novel - "P.S. I love you" which is a movie as well. I've just read 3 chapters of the novel, but can still feel the warmth of the love Gerry has for his wife Holly. Today, I watched the movie on star movies and really, it was soooo touching. Gerry loves Holly with all his heart and takes care of her small small things. Holly is careless and behaves like a child but Gerry tolerates her impatient behaviour, her mood swings and loves her. He calls her "Hol".

The movie was awesome and so the characters played by the stars. I was literally, in tears after watching the movie and was thinking, when would I find my Gerry? The one person - my soulmate, my best pal, who'll love me with all his heart and whose world will revolve around me. Of Course, I don't want him to die before me, but I would love to spend my whole life with such a great lover and would love to die in his arms. I don't know, whether I would find a person who'll love me more than me but yeah, I keep hopes in my heart that one day, my dream will come true and my man will come to me and will tell me "Hey Ann! I love You and can't live without you". How Romantic no.. All ladies out there, do you also think like me? Are you also searching for your soulmate, your best pal?

Please share..

Ann

Since I'm gonna rant in this post then, why not warn people by the title itself. So, if you don't like ranting, please don't read. Anyways, nothing seems good these days. Don't know why? May be I'm sitting idle or anything else. Though I try to keep myself busy in work, tv and all entertainment stuff, but nothing is working out. I kinda argued with my mom. Though, she ignores my sarcastic comments these days to avaoid any fights and so do I. Really, now I have come to know, how boring it can be, sitting idle at home, doing nothing. I am going for interviews though, but no positive result yet. But not loosing hopes, looking forward to a great opportunity come my way.

Like everyday, today started with a yoga session and after that I ate a delicious breakfast Aloo ka parantha with my favorite strong chai. Early morning, they were showing "Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna" - one of my all time favorites on Set Max. While watching the movies, various thoughts were coming to my mind like why people go out of their marriage when their partner is so loving and caring. May be their expectations don't match or may be something else. Why we crave for more and more and why we look flaws in our partner rather than accepting them as they are? I know many people who have spent more than a decade with their partner, and still say that they are not happy in their marriage. But touchwood, I can say that my parents are deeply and madly in love with each other. They don't do aything special. But those small small things like my mom listens to my father quitely when he gets angry (though he hardly gets angry on her) and my father sharing every happiness and sorrow with her and there are many instances which I feel make them one of the loving couples.

So, back to the topic. What it requires to make a marriage successfull. What a wife or husband needs to do to keep things interesting and long lasting. I'm single. May be I'll get answers to these questions, when I myself will get married. But, still since I am idle these days, I think about these things more. Those in relationship or married, If you have any tips or tricks for singles or those looking forward to marriage, please share.

Till Later,

Life is unpredictable. Sometimes, things happen in an unexpected way while other time they take shape the way we want them to be. But, anyways, with time we accept them. Like few months back, I got this new job, I was very excited to work in a new organization, with new people and with new clients. Things were moving pretty smooth. Then, after few days, I lost interest in the work because of the monotonous things. I was supposed to write the similar stuff almost every day. It was getting boring and hectic day by day, and suddenly to my pleasant surprise, our client disappeared and I got this new opportunity to work in normal day shift, which I am loving and on an in-house project. Though, it's boring to sit idle in in-house project but now I am looking for new and better opportunities and imagine, today I got at least 5 calls from big reputed organizations. Let's pray, that this time I end up in a big organization. Though money matters, but this time I want to work in better infrastructure while enjoying great facilities.

From my past experiences, I have observed, things get better and better with time. Let's hope, it happens this time as well. Right now, I am suffering from severe cold and fever, so just wanted to blog it out. It's great way to divert mind from that uneasy feeling.

The weekend was good as always, and Pinks made it more special by visiting my place. I told her just once to come to my place and she got ready. Soooo, sweet of her and it made my mom so happy, she treats her like a small doll. I love you Mom for loving my pals and supporting me every time. We went to mall, did some shopping and then ate gol gappas and bitched a lot. How can we miss that, after all, we are members of GOBs group.

Yesterday, I was thinking about my collection of books. Till now I have read 4 novels:

1. Five Point Someone - Loved the Character Ryan

2. Eleven Minutes - Loved the journey of Maria who was convinced that she will never find true love until she meets a handsome young painter, the love of her life.

3. Three Mistakes of my Life - Was adventurous

4. Two States - Can relate to Ananya, as she is possessive and impatient at times while understanding and independent at the other moment.

Now I'm looking forward to read these books

1. Almost Single - This was gifted by my old organisation's friends, love you guys.

2. Anything for you Ma'am -
It's a love story where the main lead of of the novel will anything for his love even jeopardize his career to travel the length of the country just to meet her.

3. Of Course I Love You. . ! Till I Find Someone Better - The title seems interesting :)

Love you all,

So, today after a long break, I started my fitness regimen again. I got up early by chance when my bro was preparing to go for a walk. I rushed to wear my shoes and told him, that I am coming with you. We went for a jog together. The greenery in the park was so refreshing and really it was a good start. I am happy that I am back to the normal schedule now. I can spend time with my family, watch daily soaps and then go for a walk in the morning (the best part of my day). Weather is changing, and so is my mood. Nowadays, I feel like flying away in some other country or an island, away from the clutter of this busy and boring life and spend a relaxing vacation wearing a sexy dress, goggles and reading my favorite novels. Or other better option can be to go on a romantic vacation and visit new places with my husband. Lol. I remember, one of my friends use to say that I always dream about marriage, husband and kids :)

Anyways, right now, I just want to fly away, with no mobiles, no TV, no tensions and no work at all. All I need is a break, some love and loads of excitement.

Let's hope, I get that soon.

Till later,
Enjoy,

Most of us alsways misinterpret the term love. We take it as a mutual feeling between a girl and a boy. But it can be anything special between two individuals. Be it your family member, a friend, a relative or anyone.. yes, if someone or some gesture touches your heart, that is love.
Here is an awesome message from one of my loving friends that made my day, I have changed few lines to make it suit my situation. Read on:

Love is when Mom stares at me quitely and smiles.

Love is when my father opens the door late night I come back from office and asks how was the day?

Love is when my bro tells me, "We've found an ugly guy for you."

Love is when my sis says, "you will be married to the best person in the world"

Love is when my friend prays for me.

Love is when my best friends says, I will be with you always.

Isn't it beautiful? Can you feel now that love is scatterred all around us, you just need to recognise it. Yes, Love is in the Air... Feel it...

Keep loving,

Ann

So, today was one of the boring days in office. Though I enjoy here, but today my p.c. got hang after 2 hours working. It was so bad that wen a folder was not opening after 10 clicks. Went to IT people several times and then they finally formatted it. and the whole time I was either staring at people or making unnecessary calls to old friends whom I had not spoken to since long. It feels so crap sometimes. Nowadays, even talking on phone feels like a time waste (only if there are someone important). Yeah, I hate my mobile, and one of the biggest reason is I lost my favorite one in a market. Now I am sitting idle as they have not installed MS Office yet and I am unable to open any docs.

After so may boring stuff, here is something, that I am enjoying these days:

1. Reading Chetan's new novel 2 states after reaching home after work. Love both Krish and Ananya. I think I can relate myself to Ananya.

2. Watching movies in parts every morning after having breakfast. Nowadays, I am watching Wake Up Sid.

3. Learning few new dishes.

4. Have got a new, short hair cut which I am flaunting these days and getting many complements as well :). I love complements.

Now I am waiting for the IT person to come back with MS Office CD. Have nothing to do and can't help it even. Want to go back home and read what happens next in 2 States.

Till later, Enjoy.

Love you All,
Ann

So, here I am with sore throat, drowsy hear and minor fever. Lollzz... You all must be wondering, why am I talking like this? Guys really, the last weekend was quite happening and hectic at the same moment. I enjoyed a lot but am suffering because of that now.

On Friday, I got "Best dressed female of the Eve" in our office party. It was like a big surprise, as I was in my regular jeans and jacket stuff. Since it was a lucky draw, I was the one who got the award. Lucky on last eve of the year :)

Then on Friday, I woke up with this minor fever feeling. Did nothing. Took rest and watched television. It was feeling like heaven being ridden in bed and doing nothing.

On Saturday, I went to meet my post grad. friend, one of my darlings. We had fun, gossiped about her in-laws (how can I leave my old habits).

On Sunday, I watched 3 Idiots. Awesome movie guys. All the three characters were great. And Kareena was looking more pretty. Since it was drizzling yesterday, I got that sore throat feeling again.

But in short, I had loads of fun this weekend.

Now I am waiting for my Boss to come so that she can edit my reports and all. Feeling drowsy. But have to work anyway.

Love you all,

Ann
